Claws of ice dug into her skin, her flesh erupted into tiny
goose bumps. She watched with jealousy as the boy wiped a tear away. Jealousy,
she decided, was something to be avoided. She pushed it effortlessly away. Her
eyes followed the path of the tear from his cheek to his finger to his pants
where it left a tiny darkened stain on denim.
